Kent Raulston
Director of Finance and Accounting
After beginning his career as a CPA at a regional accounting firm in Jackson, Kent joined the Florence Gardens staff in October of 2006 as Controller. He oversees all finance, budget and accounting functions of Florence Gardens LLC and the Florence Gardens Property Owners Association. Kent has an instrumental role in our operating and capital budgets, ensuring that every dollar spent on development delivers the maximum amount of value to our residents, current and future.
While some may think that budgets restrict creativity, at Florence Gardens the opposite is true. Through his involvement in monitoring and analyzing construction costs and projects, Kent makes certain that all resources expended in the development of Florence Gardens provide the absolute best value for home buyers and protect existing residents’ investment.
Raised in Petal, Mississippi, Kent graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2004 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, after which he excelled on both the CPA and CMA exams, garnering recognition on the State, National and International level. Kent also has a personally vested interest in Florence Gardens. He and his wife, Dewana, built their first home on Westminster Boulevard in Florence Gardens’ Town Green District.
